It is my great privilege to be chosen for the office of the Old Ravians Union. It is a matter of both pride and humility. Pride owing to the institution to which we belong, while the humility is purely personal.

Government College Lahore is one of the most prestigious institutions of the sub-continent. It is my earnest wish that the Old Ravians Union should live up to the name and prestige of the institution that it represents. Government College, Lahore has given us so much; it’s high time that we give back. The Old Ravians Union is depleted of funds and even organizing the Annual Dinner/Music requires great effort and poses much difficulty. The least we can do is participate in the Annual function. And your presence is valued more that any thing else.

I hope that senior Ravians will grace the event on March 20 to make it a befitting occasion. Your presence will lend grace and dignity to the function, provides an opportunity for Ravians to meet and walk together interact and down memory lane.
